CLIENT

Our regular customer, Nicolas Breedlove, is the founder of a large manufacturer of playgrounds and equipment, the owner of several online stores selling his products. His websites are created and maintained by our team, as well as the internal document management system for the company.

GOAL

Our goal was to create a modern, functional site for a subsidiary company – a division that checks and maintains playgrounds. The site should be adaptive, as usual, equipped with several online calculators, and should attract the target audience – public organizations, commercial structures and others.

PROGRESS

Before starting work on the site, we have designed a logo for the company. According to the wishes of the client, the logo is made in strict colors – blue, black. A symbol has been added – a silhouette of a child with a raised hand in a blue circle between the words Play and Grounds.

Prototyping and web design in Figma

Then we prototyped and designed each landing page in Figma. Figma allows you to create, comment, correct both prototypes and full-fledged web designs for desktop, adaptive versions of sites, applications, etc. in real time. Having provided our prototypes, and then the designs of all pages with interactive elements, we allowed the client to track the development of design and future functionality online.

In the design of the pages, we used both stock and individual illustrations – infographics and unique icons. The main page is made in a modern style: landing page, with blocks rich in graphics and a small amount of text.

The purpose of this page is to familiarize the user with all aspects of the company’s services and gently lead him to the need of ordering playground equipment inspection and maintenance services by filling out the form and starting a dialogue with the company’s managers.

Frontend coding in Tailwind CSS

Then we made up into pages the finished and approved design (in which some minor changes were subsequently made) using the productive and fashionable Tailwind CSS . This is a whole framework that makes the process of a layout design in an HTML template as easy, convenient and fast as it is possible in the modern world. And the output is the most lightweight HTML + CSS template, ready both for installation in its pure form and for transfer to any known CMS system.

Creating a website of Plagrounds.com based on the React/Laravel platform

We decided to develop the back-end, the theme and all the functionality of the site on the promising Laravel platform. This made the site simply lightning-fast, despite the saturation of graphics and colorful illustrations. Now the user will not wait even a second for downloading both the full-fledged desktop version and the mobile version of this wonderful site.

ACHIEVED RESULT

We got a nice, attractive site liked by both DRStudio and our client, and the most important is that users and potential clients also do! A feast for the eyes!
